A few days ago we paired up with are buddy class to explore some wooden games which were in the hall. My favourite was probally the one with an upside down bridge block tided by two ropes which you could ajust. A golf ball was on top of the bridge, you had to lift it around a track without it falling of track and going back down to the bottom.
I am proud of my adventures of the pits writing. Here is a link to the video we had to write about. Here is the best bit I have done, it was the fourth task we had to do before writing the actual piece. What do you think happens next in the clip? Here it is :
” The noise in the indoor playground is going down as ladys file out of the meeting room to collect their waiting children, soon the afternoon rain will be the only sound in the playground. Wondering why his mum is taking so long in her meeting, he takes a deep breath and faces his fears, his face crumples in thought and his body tightens up. It’s only a metre long slide into the colourful balls. He throws his body down the orange tube, he screeches in fear of the up fly of balls at the end. The last thing he feels is a whoosh as he goes through the big purple circleβ¦ “
If my friends were around I would team up with them because I know thier stregths also. My sport is netball, you can’t move with the balls so you need at least one other person so you can play the game. The other team would always have the ball if you didn’t have enough people to defend thier players. My last reason is that its nice to have support while playing netball.
I would not have stayed because I don’t really want to be on tv. Its not really that appealing for that reason. Also I would miss Netball and my family (including my cat).Β My card would be in the fish bowl pretty much straight away. I am not really sure though…
This morning we went to a Te Tuhi art gallery, we did an art work shop then we explored the art that was displayed. We were guided helpfully through this by a lady who worked at the gallery, her name was Bree. Bree helped us make beautiful art work that encluded a tool called a etcher. It was to scrape of the black paint!

I am SO excited for Mr Lemoncello’s Libary to open! I think it will have amazing books that open to show holigrams of the pictures or whats happening in the story. I also think there will be clues and games to make it more than an ordanairy libary, I guarantee that! I hope that I will be the first to see it, and get a libary card!
